Cancellation Policy

Effective October 20, 2026 · StandHopper, Inc.

When guests get money back, and what happens when hosts cancel.

Guest cancellations

Full refund up to 7 days before your first day. 50% refund 2–6 days before. No refund within 48 hours.

Timing is measured from the start of the first booked day in the property's local time. The service fee is refunded only with a full refund.

Season and annual leases

Full refund of what you've paid up to 30 days before the lease starts. 50% of the lease amount paid (service fee not refunded) until it starts. No refund once the lease has started.

Timing is measured from the lease start date. Payments not yet collected are cancelled and never charged. If a scheduled installment can't be collected after three attempts, the host may end the lease under the lease agreement and keep payments already made for the time used. A lease bought after its term began starts on the day it was booked.

Weather and game

Bad weather, slow deer movement, a missed shot, or a forecast that changes are not reasons for a refund. Forecasts and scores on the listing are estimates, not promises. Hosts may offer a reschedule at their discretion.

When you get a full refund regardless of timing

The host cancels or can't provide access; the property is materially different from the listing (wrong location, no stand, unsafe stand, boundaries misrepresented); the area is closed by a government order or emergency (for example fire, flood, or a disease-management closure); or the season is closed by the state for your dates. Report the problem within 24 hours of arrival with photos.

Host cancellations

If a host cancels a confirmed booking, the guest gets a full refund and we help find another spot. Hosts who cancel may be charged a fee, have dates blocked, or lose their listing.
